Located upcountry in the heart of Maui, the Maui Gold Pineapple Farm is the last working pineapple operation on Maui. On the tour you will learn about the history of the pineapple in Hawai‘i, the fruits growing cycle and cultivation techniques required to farm it commercially. As a bonus a free pineapple is included with each tour that is pre-packaged for airport transfer.

What to Expect
When you arrive check in is located at the main entrance. After everyone has arrived for the tour, your guide will direct you to the tour bus. This is an immersive experience with many stops in the fields where your guide will show the different stages of the pineapple, from flowering to harvest and processing at the warehouse.
Did you know that a field newly planted with crowns requires approximately 18 months after planting before the first fruiting.
