This itinerary includes Town twice, once in the morning for chance to have Breakfast or look around and then early afternoon for Lunch and a Spa appointment at Miimi’s Place Salon. Lanai Cat Sanctuary – Town, Cats & Town 6:30AM-5:30PM – With a Spa Service. This activity is for guests not interested in a Beach visit who would like to combine a visit to the Lanai Cat Sanctuary with Lanai City and a little pampering at Mimi’s Place Salon. This itinerary includes 4 transfers -Town twice, once in the morning for Breakfast and then early afternoon for Lunch and/or Spa service. Depart Maalaea Harbor at 6:30AM and visit Town (Lanai City) for a breakfast stop or to look around, then transfer to the Lanai Cat Sanctuary at 10:00AM. Next transfer at 1:00PM from the Lanai Cat Sanctuary to Town (Lanai City) and your separately scheduled Spa service at Mim’s. Then at 4:15PM, your final transfer from the flagpole pick-up location in Town or from Mimi’s Salon to the Harbor for your 5:30PM ferry departure.

Q. How do I choose and reserve my Spa service?
A. After you make your booking Mimi will contact you to answer your questions and finalize your Spa service. Lost on Lanai will coordinate your day with your visit to Mimi’s Place Salon. Learn more about Mimi’s Place Salon and check out all of their services HERE (link going live soon).

Q. How far in advance should I Book and what are a few examples of the Spa services offered?
A. Please Book at least 2 days in advance for basic Spa services like nails, pedicure or manicures. For massage please book 3-5 days in advance so Mimi can schedule your therapist as some travel  from Maui. Mimi’s Place Salon offers Nail Services, Manicure, Gel Manicure, Pedicure, Gel Pedicure – Prices $25-$65. Massage services offered60, 90 and 120min – Swedish, Sport, Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue and Custom. Special packages are available like a couples side by side, pineapple scrub or the Lanai Island Renewal Package (2.5 hr). Prices start at $130 for a sixty min massage.

Q. How do I get my Ferry Tickets?
A. When you check in at the Expeditions Maalaea Ticket Booth give the attendant your names and have your ID handy and they will give you your roundtrip tickets. Their ticket booth is located at 101 Maalaea Boat Harbor Rd.: Google Map Link Directions 

There will be an info & directions message included at the bottom of your booking receipt, and we also send a reminder info & directions text to you the evening before departure. Note: Expeditions asks that you check in early – at least 30-45 minutes prior to your departure time. Expeditions may also send a separate email with information about your ferry reservation and other general information, some of which will not be applicable to your itinerary. Your Shuttle Transfers are included, and we make ALL the Arrangements, so you do not need to confirm transfers.

Q. How long is the ferry ride between Maui and Lanai?
A. About 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Q. What about Parking at Maalaea Harbor?
A. If you do not Cab or Uber the parking at Maalaea Harbor is all paid parking. Payable via QR Code signposted or at one of the 6 pay stations. Parking is managed by Secure Parking 1-808-517-1311. Nearest pay station to Expeditions is located near slip 62. Please allow ample time to find a parking spot, pay and make your way to Expeditions check in. Q. How do I find the Shuttle on Lanai?
A. When you disembark on Lanai, please head up the gangway. Your shuttle van transfer driver will be waiting for you with a sign that has “Lanai City Shuttle Service/Rabaca’s Limousine Service” on it. Please check in with the drivers and let them know that you are Lost on Lāna’i Voucher Guests going to the Cat Sanctuary and they will direct you to the correct shuttle van.

There is only one shuttle service on Lanai & they will have you on their passenger list for the day. Shuttle transfers during the day operate at a set schedule coordinated with your itinerary.

The Lanai Cat Sanctuary welcomes visitors and volunteers alike to its cage free outdoor cat enclosure or “Cat Sanctuary” and is open 365 days a year from 10:00AM-3:00PM.
